Rob Mermin

robmerminRob ran off to the circus in 1969 and clowned with shows throughout Europe, Scandinavia, and the former Soviet Union. In 1987 Rob founded the award-winning international touring youth company, Circus Smirkus. Collin Miclon

collinmiclonCollin Miclon is 17 years old and has been performing since he was four years old, when he moved into the second story of a theater. Collin has studied physical comedy at the Celebration Barn theater, and been a part of his high school drama productions since his freshman year. This past summer Collin was a part of the cast of the Vermont based youth circus, Circus Smirkus, and hopes to attend next year’s Big Top Tour.

Aaron DeWitt

aarondewittAaron is eighteen years old and has been performing since he was ten years old. He specializes in juggling, but has many other interests in the circus arts. These include, handbalance, aerial straps, tumbling, and dance. Aaron plans to continue developing his skills by attending circus school in the near future.

Shane Miclon

shanemiclonShane Miclon is nineteen years old and has been juggling since he was five. Shane lives in Buckfield Maine where he performs at the Oddfellow Theater almost every month. For the last two summers he has toured with Vermont’s own Circus Smirkus. When Shane is not juggling he enjoys… Well, he’s usually juggling. Shane plans on pursuing a career in juggling and attending a circus school in Quebec.

Dan Berkley

danberkleyDan Berkley is glad to be performing again after working 6 months as Carnival NYC’s Director of Entertainment. In the past, he graduated from the Clown Conservatory, toured with Ringling Brothers & Barnum and Bailey’s Circus, coached at Circus Smirkus, and produced and performed his own trio show, Out of Orbit. He currently lives in NYC where he is taking up the fine art of sculpting balloons and studying the amazing art of the quick change. www.atomicclown.com
