The Farmer’s Daughter

Molly Keczan represented Canada as a competitive rhythmic gymnast, has her B.F.A. in Performance Dance and is a part of the Cirque Du Soleil talent pool.  She grew up as the youngest of five, on a large scale commercial poultry and soft fruit farm in Southern Ontario, Canada.

Molly performs the only milk bottle walk in the world. Her solo show The Farmer’s Daughter Show was a featured act at the 2019 Canadian National Exhibition in Toronto, Canada.  This show was chosen to be a part of the first ever all female busker festival in Lawrence, Kansas. Molly is also the creator of the duo female aerial show, The Silver Starlets, which has toured throughout New Zealand, Ireland, UAE, Canada and the USA.  She is co-director of Equilibrium Circus and was recently named one of the top 10 under 40 by the Canadian Association of Fairs and Exhibitions.

Sharon from Canada

Sharon Mahoney is an award winning comedian, actress and street performer who has travelled the globe for almost 20 years performing at world class festivals and comedy clubs. In May 2021 she was inducted into the Busker Hall of Fame for her many contributions to the street performer community throughout the world.

She has performed in Australia, NZ, USA, Europe, UK, United Arab Emirates, Singapore, Africa and more! With a background in Improvisation acting from the Second City in Toronto and a degree in Theatre Arts and psychology, she is a versatile performer, who successfully provokes and pushes the boundaries of social norms. Her stand up comedy can be seen on national Tv and she headlines and hosts comedy clubs around the world.

Her most recent award winning solo show; ThunderCunt, has been touring at festivals in Australia, UK and Canada with rave reviews, sold out houses and standing ovations. She is an incredibly engaging performer who longs to make a connection with the audience while metaphorically grabbing them by the short and curlies.

The UK Times described her as a “cross between Hunter. S. Thompson and Bette Midler” and she has shared the stage with some of the most established names in the comedy industry.

Ariele Ebacher

Ariele Ebacher has toured the world dancing on the wire for the past 20 years.  She began her career in circus after receiving her BA in Dance from the University of Massachusetts Amherst.  She has performed circus on cruise ships, on ice, in nightclubs, variety theaters, circus tents, and in the great wide open.  In the past few years she has performed with NoFit State Circus, Zoppe Circus, Flynn Creek Circus, Circus Flora, The Bindlestiff Family Cirkus, Midnight Circus, Circus Bella, and the Big Apple Circus.  When not on tour she coaches tight wire at the  New England Center for Circus Arts, where she lives with her husband Jan Damm and their two children Timo and Ilsa.  @arielewirewalker

Jan Damm

Jan Damm has been touring in the U.S. and internationally as a circus artist for over 10 years. Originally from Maine, he has worked street corners, big top tents, theaters and opera houses, rural schoolyards, and on screen. He specializes in clown, juggling, acrobatics, balancing and eccentric skills. Jan enjoys collaboration and creating original work, but is also at home in classic spectacles inspired by the greats of vaudeville and circus. He has toured with ‘Clowns Without Borders’ to Haiti, Indonesia, Lebanon and Greece. Other career highlights include appearances aboard Celebrity Cruises, Cirque Mechanics’ Pedal Punk on Broadway, and Big Apple Circus’ 40th Anniversary Tour. He lives in Brattleboro, Vermont with his wife Ariele and their two children.

Arlyn Bruccoli

Arlyn is the Box Office & House Manager for Vermont Vaudeville. She loves dressing up to stay behind the scenes at Vaudeville. When not at Vaudeville, Arlyn’s wonderful day job is being an elementary school librarian and technology education specialist. She is passionate about libraries, reading, robotics, makerspaces, & creative uses of technology to support learning. Libraries are for polymaths of which Arlyn is definitely one. She grew up in SC, and has worked as a vegan baker and museum educator in California & New York. And just because Vermont Vaudeville, a full time teaching job, and a few other side hustles are not enough – Arlyn also is a pinata maker & needle felter.

Anna Crytzer

Anna Crytzer loves social events and being in charge. Hence, her position as the “Concessions Queen”. She also strongly believes in supporting live family entertainment and creating positive and inclusive community. When not “womaning” the concession stand, she leads JourneyDance events, creating mind/body dance experiences for personal growth and healing. She also homeschools, homesteads, promotes nature education and works with English Language Learners.

Rose Friedman

Rose is the stage director, hospitality liaison, and box office greeter for Vermont Vaudeville.  She is a native New Yorker who has lived in the NEK for 17 years.  A second-generation theater maker, Rose inherited her company, Modern Times Theater, from her parents.  In addition to performing and producing shows, she homeschools her kids, works as a home study evaluator, serves on the board of NEK Arts and the steering committee of the HIVE homeschool co-op, and holds the office of “lecturer” for Caledonia Grange #9. She also washes a lot of dishes.

Audrey Grant

Audrey Grant is a Senior at Hazen Union High School, and has been working with Vaudeville as technical director for the past two years, having volunteered tech for them since their freshman year. A geographically native Hardwickian, she grew up watching Vaudeville as a child. The glamour of it all, a little gemstone in her tiny town, inspired her to pursue the arts. She does lighting and sound design, and general tech help for Vermont Vaudeville. Audrey is also a representative to the Hardwick Town House Board, and is thankful and privileges to have such an amazing performance space and cast to create such beautiful shows.

Justin Lander

Justin Lander is the MC of Vermont Vaudeville, the band manager, director of public relations, and one of VV’s in house graphic designers.  Off stage and away from Vaudeville, Justin builds puppets and props for Modern Times Theater, conducts workshops in improv comedy, home schools his two children, and scrambles around trying to keep a small homestead producing enough food to feed an extended family of five.
To unwind, he ferments vegetables, cures meats, and answers calls on the Meat Hotline (802-GRAVYUP), a free service that will advise you on how to cook your meat.  He also likes long walks on the beach.

Brent McCoy

Brent is the Artist & Venue Liaison, Social Media Promoter, and Archivist for Vermont Vaudeville. He grew up on a small dairy farm on Hardwick, Vermont. He has performed professionally since 2005 as a stunt comedian, clown, and juggler. When he’s not touring, Brent makes paintings, produces electronic dance music, and flies his paraglider. He loves being home in the Northeast Kingdom, where he can turn on the VT accent and nobody looks at him funny.
